great report. If you really want to catch big fish you should try big trout lake. This place holds true to its name, my uncle has caught bunches of twenty pound plus lake trout up there and the water is so cold, even in the middle of july, that the fish are only ten feet deep.

the water is meant for fly fishing and if it does freeze up there wont be enough water for the fish.

What if your just getting in to Trout fishing , Im a newby this year and seem to Love the chase, what im trying to say is I dont have Spots to give out becuase I am a beginner to this side of the sport! Sure I can tell you some HOT Spots if you have 1500 to 1600 cash and want to take a 24 hour drive NORTH and an 8 hour drive up a lake! The Lake is Called Lac Suel Which im sure you have all heard about. The group I went with I'm sure if they seen I even said the name to anyone will probably disown me. If I could write a report on such a lake and give you a map to where our Houseboat was stationed would this be suffice? The reason I bring up that lake is becasue it is known for its MUSKY. Not to mention it holds ever freshwater fish known to man and while we visited that Gorgeous lake We caught over a 2 to 300 fish , not that we ate that many but we had a feast for two nights! Oh and a 29 pound Musky which hit a white jig tipped with a minnow I have pictures and we never left the back of the boat to go fishing! VERY Convienient!! If someone could get back to me on this matter I would very much appreaicate it? Im sure you guys just want local spots but its worth the shot!

Definitely post a report with pics. Most of us will probably never get up there but we all like looking at fish porn regardless of where it is. Your report will then be moved to the appropriate section and you will then have access.

I live in the Georgian Bay area, and I have at least one spot that I fish on a regular basis, that I could share. I can't stand using google maps, it always screws up my computer for some reason. However, I could make a short video on how to get to the spot from a well known location in the area. Another video of the different areas to fish for different types of fish. Post them on youtube and attach links for those interested. With a short text description of the general area where the videos are taken from. Also pictures of fish I catch, of course. I realize this doesn't exactly follow the guide laid out, but wondered (before I went out and did it), if it would be an acceptable substitude?

That would work nicely.

I like this system!! A private area for people willing to share their spots with no lunkers! Great idea.

Most of the reports I have posted on other forums don't have specific location details. I'll have to try and edit a couple and post on OFF!

Great report and tread! I've been looking for an explination on the use of a center pin for a long time. This tread spelled it out nicely, thanks guys!!

Crappy part is that I just added another rod and reel combo to my wish list!!

Nope no lurkers. Even people who sign up, whether they post or not, can't get access to the reports until I personally grant them access manually. I only give access to people that first post a fishing report in the "your first fishing report" section. I then review their report, and if it meets our standards, I move the report to the reports section and grant them access. Again, there are only a small handful of people who have access.

NOW THAT IS AWESOME!!!

x2

I've driven by the open stretch a billion times but have yet to fish it. I want to add it to my 2011 Chrome tour, it would be nice to diversify a bit more. So far I've been sucessfull B-ville, Wilmot, and Credit.
