thats awesome, one question, have you tried them in water, i think they might be spinning around in circles and twisting the line because of the flat nose.

are you gonna have some brighter and glow colors ?

Yeah its funny you mentioned that, was noticing that the other day, when I bought my frabill UL rig, it came stocked with 4 lb low-grade clear (white) fishing line and it would never spin, but when I changed it to 6 lb test red cajun 2 two days ago, while testing my jigging technique I started getting some line twist. My first thoughts would be to tie on a ball-bearing swivel that would probably stop that from happening, and maybe even strengthen the connection. I'll be heading sometime this or next week to test that out, I'll let you know how that goes.

did you make the molds for these jigs yourself or did you buy a premade mold and just pour and paint the jigs?

Snypa,
May I ask if these are Vertical / Horizontal / 45 degree Jigs?
They look pretty nice, I think I want to try a few for softwater :D.

In the future, if you make some in 1/16 or 1/8, I'll buy all my jigs I'm using in the 2009 season from you :)

Btw, What brand hooks are you using?

Originally I was going to buy the mold & pour myself (I luv DIY projects) found a guy that had the mold already and pours them for me, makes the turn-around time a fair bit quicker. I just give him a call anytime I need more in quantities.

hah thnx :D I'll be sure to let you know if we do ! And yes they can be fished horizontally, if you were to rig on a "sassy shad soft plastic" the jig would be converted into a swimbait (its original intended use). I plan on buying some more this week, I should also have some livebait rigs in 1/8 oz. sometime soon that you might be interested in, sold many of these the past month or so in "chartreuse" (I'll post a pic later). Hooks wise, we mainly use "Eagle Claw" hooks but I'll also use Mustad hooks for other applications from time to time. For the gravediggers Eagle Claw 570 or 575 hooks, and the livebait rig (that I'll be posting pics of soon) uses short shanked 571 hooks and a very small "size 10" Mustad round-bend treble hook.

Also made a quick vid of the gravediggers all packaged up

Had some time to experiment with gravediggers today using ball-bearing swivels and I changed the braided line I was using over to mono Trilene XL 4 lb. test. I wanted to see if I changed the fishing line if it would make a difference, and have come to the conclusion that "name brand" fishing lines can cause line-twist with the gravediggers, while other "no-name brands" might not, the swivels did seem to lessen it a little bit. Heres a pic of the very small swivels I used, one is Sampo and the other is a 15 lb. test Mustad swivel ball-bearing, they both had pretty much the same results ; a small amount of line twist was still noticeable.

No need, I take all of my orders online & in-person, although I may get a retailer or two to carry some of my jigs in future.

Yeah I'm already working with a small tackle shop for now, might test the market with them (with their customers) sometime in the near future, we'll have to see how it works out.
