Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum as well as new to spinning fishing, (i have a float-rod fishing experience)
To be brief:
I planing to go camping/canoeing to Algounquing park interior in mid May , so need advice on selecting a proper rod and reel combo and other staff like Bait/Lure i might need for lake trout fishing from shore or canoe.
Baitcast, Spinning, Spincast, ultralite, lite, medium,-i'm not sure what i need  ,but i'm sure i dont need expensive pro staff (willing to spend 70-170$ set)
If anyone can give me direct link (like this for example http://www.basspro.c...__SearchResults
with short description why would be GREAT!
Thank You Very Much!

do you know what body of water you will be fishing, cause that could have an impact on the types of bait you should use

My advice: rod aint gunna make or break your fishing trip, take some 3 way swivels to get deep & a fish finder is a MUST!

Nothing wrong with that combo. I would get it in the light action model.

Then spool it up with some light line. Maybe 6 or 8 lb test.

Like was allready mentioned, use a 3 way swivel with a 2-3 oz weight at the bottom, and then just troll your favorite spoon. Mepps, Blue Fox, Williams, Swedish Pimple will all work.
