What is your favourite Tackle Shop? Why?

I like Hirk's(Courtice), Gagnon's(Oshawa) and Tightlines(Pickering) because they are close to where I live(Ajax). Friendly, knowledgable staff, great selection, stock items not found at Bass Unpro Shop........

If I am at the cottage on Rice Lake and I need anything I run to the REEL RETREAT. Stocks everything you would possibly need for an outing.

not a local store, but i would have to say le barons in markham. staff is always helpful and ready to take any questions.
i usually stay there forever and chat with Will.

my local store is angling specialties on kennedy rd in scarborough. 5 minute walk from where i live, so if i have to pick something up desperately. off i go. Prices are usually outrageous though.

I go to Pro tackle on Gerrards st in Toronto...not many places to go in Toronto for Live bait. It`s a small family run tackle shop with a friendly old lady behind the counter. They have some cool old stuff still hangin on the walls, stuff from the 70`s and 80`s. Cool place to look!

FISH ON!!!

David
Is that tackle shop still there? Is it the same one I am referring to, Gerrard St. just before Broadview Chinatown. You have to park on the side of the road and the shop is part of a house? Man I have not been there in 20+ years.

BTW
JB's Fishing Depot is my fav. I will go out of my way to get there.

Purks Place in bala, it's a nice place and the building itself is over a hundred years old and looks like something you would find in an Ispy book  its right on the water and has docks so i all ways just go past it if we're going fishing on the lake
