Rouge river park fishing

anyone ever tried fishing in Rouge river park its a good place to fish for suckers I caught like 20 of them the other day just make sure you fish where the rapids are you can clearly see them in the water because its not deep

I've never done any river fishing myself, but from what I hear, when the suckers are stacked in the rivers, there's bound to be endless action!

yep try rouge river for some sucker action its a little creek i just fish there twice and i caught rougly around 30 suckers in both ocasion its near morning side and shepperd just search the map

I tried there once back in Feb or March for Pike but had no luck.

really bro thers pike in there I only saw a school of suckers I will post for sure next time I go Rouge river is pretty big so il get the exact location and report it here if you guys fish there you wont come home zero

What do you use when you fish for suckers? i live close by the area and im new to this site, wondering where can i go to fish. Need to improve my game =D because i do love the sport/

If you go upstream from the mouth, you can definitely find bass. I've caught some nice smallmouth up on the main channel, once you get past the first bend.

i went to rouge park a few times, i only tried carp and got a few really big ones. what do you use for bass fishing there ? can i do it off the shore or do i need to buy a small boat to go a little deeper ?

Wish I can tell you man. But the way things have been fishing for migratory fish, I'm not sure I can reveal locations.

Meh, let em wine. As long as you are within the regulations at the top of the forum they can kick and scream all they want. You just cant say when runs are happening or mention specific spots on the river.

Rouge is about 1 1/2 feet vis. By the morning it will be two fee or more an hold ing hungry fish I hope.....

good stuff that little creek needs all the help it can get, really it should be zero kill due to reproduction problems.
