Jumbo Perch @ Beaverton or Jackson's Point

Just want to know if this weekend is a good time to get jumbo perch at Beaverton, Simcoe Lake. I went to there last weekend, nice weather but apparently too early. The only thing I got is a sucker, I let it go. I don't like Barrie, too many ppl there... If weather is good, I might go to Jackson's Point instead of Beaverton this weekend... Thanks everybody.

Just wondering if Jackson's Point has "public place" to fish
