Not sure where to put these since there isn't a topic for this area.

Kelso is a conservation area, parking is usually a pain. I've caught Small mouth, panfish, catfish, carp and trout.

Mill pond is stocked with rainbow every year for the Mill Pond fishing derby, lots of panfish as well.

No motorized boats on these waters.

Kelso has large parking lots down by the beach and a fair sized lot by the boar launch.
Mill pond has small parking(but never full) in Rotary Park, a business lot across the street and you might be lucky enough to get street parking right in front

Thanks for those pics! I didn't know you could fish Kelso. Good to know I'll have to head up there this year.

After that that's all she wanted to do
But that was okay 'cause I did too
She always wants to go down by the dam
And I love how she looks with that rod in her hand
If they ain't bitin' she don't give up
Turns out my baby loves to...

Hey I live down the street from Kelso and fairly close to the mill pond so I'm always fishing in these ponds. These ponds are great to go for bass, carp and catfish as you said. But for trout you might be better off fishing the mill pond and sixteen for trout seeing as they stock the mill pond with trout and they also enter the sixteen through the back of the mill pond and swim up from lake ontario in the fall and spring

Martin st runs from main up derry right? on the west side of bronte? If so, thats 16 mile up that way? I figuered that wouldve been bronte creek running up that side lol. I'll take that advice, I totally forgot about reading this in Jan, so I'm a go check em out one day lol.
