wow from 650 to 550 guess none likes cts rods that much LOL, bet if it was an imx it woud have been a diff story :grin:

Maybe so, they're both great sticks, the imx definitely caters to a broader group of anglers though. I just can't justify paying 600 bucks for a rod they don't make anymore, I like to know that warranty is going to cover the same stick, not a new generation inferior noodle IMHO.

Maybe so, but that hasn't been the experience with one guy trying to unload his IMX for 600+
(Mind you if you're interested I think you have to submit a resume for that purchase)
