hello there i am new to this forum i love to fish and fish as much as i can when i can, my fishing partner is my dad and he is the best fisherman in the world :) we recently found out he has prostate cancer i have seen walks and runs for prostate cancer but have yet to see a fishing derby to bring awareness and support for prostate cancer patients, survivors and family's we live in the Kawartha lakes and i have searched and searched and nothing this is something i no that my dad, myself and most fisherman would hopefully enjoy so my question is does anyone know of a derby or now how to create a derby .

I had penned a long response to your question fishgirl and the system dumped me (its been buggy today).
I will get back to you soon--my dad suffered the same illness and I'm sorry to hear yours has likewise been diagnosed. Wishes for continued strength and that your dad pulls through like a trooper.

I think this initiative is very important--I'm off to do some research.
