It is that time of year exOor, Merry Christmas to you and all members of the forum and Happy New Year, may everyone catch the fish of their dreams in 2012, or may young parents see their children catch their first fish ever and start a life long passion.
I pray with you for the people of the Philippines and also for all innocent victims and their families around the globe. Be it the Turkey earth quake, children in the war in Afghanistan or a child shot in a drive by in NYC.
I also pray for the families of officers and soldiers killed in the line of duty. The list goes on and on.
So much injustice, all we can do is to go on and try and be the best people we can be.
Merry Christmas all and Peace on Earth.

Alfie.

It's nice to see that there are still some people in the world that have enough faith to pray for others, thank you so much exoor and alfiegee for helping to restore my faith. I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas along with all the members of OFF and their families. Please remember to not drink and drive.

Thanks piju, I have always prided myself on being a good person. I'm glad I could " help restore your faith."
Yes never drink and drive. When I was 16 my best friend was killed by a drunk driver, he plowed into a whole family. My friend was killed as was his mother and one sister and as far as I know his other sister is crippled for life. They were crossing legally at a cross walk.
I like a drink or beer as much as the next guy, but there are taxis.
I still hope everyone catches the fish of their dreams in the new year. Just don't drink and drive.

Alfie.

Wow, is that an Atlantic? Were they selling those too, or do you think it was a mistake?

Pic appears blurry on my screen, but looks like a brown to me. If I could see the fish in person I could tell you what it is.

Yeah it definitely looks like a brown, I wonder how they would mix up a brown with the bows? The bows look farm raised and not wild from the Great Lakes. Would anyone be raising browns in conjunction with bows for grocery stores? Maybe they're from a multi purpose fish farm and a brown accidentally got in with the bows.

Would make more sense if it was an Atlantic because they get farmed for food, but it does look like a brown.

i agree that would make more sense...the jaw doesnt seem to extend past the eye socket. but the pic is a little rough if it were an atlantic i would have bought it and hooked it on my line for a pic lol. when i worked at FOLC we would get crazy amounts of trout mixed with our minnows at times.....i would grade them all out and release them into GTA tribs at the mouths i wonder if any of those coaster brookies made it back????

float goes down......rod goes up!!!
