Hello everyone ... After viewing everyones beautiful pics on our forum , I couldn't help but think of sharing what I have done recently with alot of my pics . There is a book making site called ... Blurb.ca ... and you can download the book making program from Blurb and create your very own books of any kind . I've done mainly picture books with very little text , but you can do your book anyway you desire .
I've done 5 books thus far , one book in particular I made for my long time friend and fishing buddy for his 50 th. birthday . I put together hundreds of pictures that we've taken over the years and put them together in a book called " I am a Steelheader " , it consists of 57 pages and cost about 50 bucks . It makes a fine keepsake and the pictures will last forever , they keep your books on line for as long as you want them , so in case something happens to your book , it can be replaced . There is another option as well , you can sell your book on-line through Blurb and you name the price , ( any budding writers out there ? ). So , maybe take a look and make a pictorial book of your days on the water and place it on your coffee table for all to enjoy ... Just a thought.

The river is forever moving and always changing .
It calms me and challenges me . It keeps me aware of everything around me .
As I sit at home waiting away the cold days of winter , a warm breeze blows my way .
A mild spell is coming ... and the river ... it calls to me ...
................................................
It calls to me softly ... whispering ... " GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE , IT'S STEELY TIME !!! "

Hey thanks for that info Notta Steeler. I'm going to check out the site too. Writing has always been a hobby of mine on those days I can't be on the water.
Maybe I can put together something over the winter as I was just laid off until spring. Who knows, there has to be something worthwhile in my 5 boxes of hand written journals ( at least I think so :) )

Alfie.

How's everybody today ? Finished my yearly routine of banging out another book through BLURB .CA for my library . It was a far more active year this time around , with way more pics than last year .
This book , I titled : simply - 2011 . I managed to round it off at 112 pages , could have easily went 200 , but I try to make them interesting for anyone to appreciate . You can fit each book to match your budget or your taste .
This time around the cost was about , 73 . 00 dollars . That included shipping for one book and I'll receive it at my door within 2 weeks from when I sent it in . Very efficient and I can't say enough of the quality .
I plan on adding one each year as part of the off season wintering period and start this years book with new pics very soon that I'll stash away in a folder on the computer until January 2013 and sort them again .

Nice pic bro...
Any flowing water up around your parts??
Pm me if you want--I want to plan a trip for an article...
