Hello all, I am still alive.

I visited the Island for the first time this year.

Arrived around noon or so and fished til about 1530h.

Saw total of whopping 3 pike! , all around same area.

Hooked, caught & released + splashed.

2nd, bigger, took a whip at my x-rap, failed to hook itself, took off like a rocket.

3rd, way too small, only follow.

Tossed a spoon+lizard combo for 2nd chance.. but no go.

Decided to call it early day.

With the recent "Heat" (Warmer Weather) ... I've been seeing them hanging more in the shallows.
Hoving in about 2-3ft of water over the sandy bottoms.
