So i stumble across 3 guys on a West Trib yesterday morning...just before first light,they looked a little shady,so i watched them for a few mins from the darkness of the forest...guys proceeded to pull two fish(both hens) from a riffle that was 8 inches deep,by their tails...no rod,no net,no bucket...tried to videotape but no good from 50 yds out...wish i had a slingshot...while the numbers of salmon are pretty low...THE LOOGAN RUN IS IN FULL SWING!!! These guys had 4 hens total...when i passed them on river and mentioned they had a "nice" setup for fishing...(sarcasm of course) the idiots just cackled like it was a great joke...MNR needs to do something,as these guys werent even trying to hide what they were doing!! I told them what i thought of their new technique and continued on my way...this will not stop until some examples are set by MNR...or close the salmon fishery for awhile... Before we have NONE!!

I know for sure i will be investing in a slingshot...as an everyday item in my vest 
Will pack an extra container of 1 ounce egg weights too...you know...for those "special" salmon fisherman

Brutal. Did they take them with them? A licence number would be helpful to the CO's. I think we need a neighbourhood watch for the rivers, a goon squad doling out their own justice.
