I dont ice fish either something about a bunch of guys sharing the same "hole" bothers me.

Ice fishing can be cheap. Make a rod from a broken one around. Use a spinning reel you already have. Grab a hatchet (or even a hammer) to reopen old holes and a strainer from the kitchen

just wear some cleats and head to the mouths pump...lot's of open water. harbor fishing. some are still open water. I've been hammering an east end harbor with spoons...pike and perch to be had.

I found a spot this sunday but the weather was brutal to fish.

I told ya pump let me know when you wanna get out, I have all the gear from the rods to the hut. Saying that, we should get some of the OFF peeps out on simcoe! I know the jumbos are pretty scattered right now but I mean I dont see why we cant still enjoy the hard water.
