Hello, this summer ill be fishing in Bayfront Park.  Does anyone have any advice on to what to use their or where to fish?  I've been fishing there a bit last year and didn't catch anything. I saw some big bass but never caught them.  Also i go fishing for 6-8 hours every week or so in the summer, i get skunked everytime  . I never ever catch any fish.  Is there something im doing wrong or is it jut bad luck? If anyone has any advice please reply,

Thanks,

I fish with worms and leeches down there regularly and I catch some nice bass and perch. Try taking a walk up the path on the left of the boat launch. further up the better. Lots of carp in the back right Macassa Bay. You can see that on google maps. I don't fish carp but I see tons of them rolling around in there on my early morning visits.

For bass natural colour weedless jigs with a crayfish trailer work well. Blue and back twister tails are a must as well. The key to that place is covering water. Don't stick in one place.

To the left of the boat launch, it runs along the rail lands all the way up to the carp barrier at Cootes Paradise.
