As most folks know the 2 piers in Port Dalhousie leading out to the lake have been barracaded closed due to safety issues with the structures. These piers for many years have been the gathering place for salmon shore fishing folk in the early Fall. If the piers stay closed for the whole salmon season, this will be a big disappointment to all the local shore fishing sport fisherman. Anybody have any news about the fate of the piers or repairs. Apparently, there are financial issues involved. Also, anybody catching anything these days at Port Dalhousie from the wall on shore? Thanks.
