Got this spinner - http://www.basspro.c.../1311140716282/

Noticed that the rotation angle seems to be too big, about 45 degrees from the axle..

I guess it should be smaller.

Am I right?

never mind, returned all of them, and got MEPPS, it's expensive but should catch more fish (based on reviews :) )

The blade style shown in the basspro spinners is what is known as as a french blade.

If you want a spinner with a lessor blade angle from shaft  while fishing it   you will want to purchase spinners wihich use  a willow blade or swing  style blade.

Thay are longer and provide a  narrower profile.

They will tend to flash more and give off less vibration while turning  tighter to the shaft and lure body.

They also tend to generate less drag and lift allowing the bait to track a bit deeper in the water.

Hope this helps
