Did a bit of night fishing Friday evening into Saturday morning. Tried to get some clips but there in next to no light so they are not the greatest. I added a few from the summer to make it a vid....

So many fish around. My sonar was lighting up the whole time. Truly a unique experience trying salmon fishing from a kayak in the dark. Can't see well, battling waves and holding the trolling rod so I could feel the strike. Had to get in touch with a few new senses I don't normally use while fishing. It was a blast and I caught some fish. Went 3 for 6, and had a spinning combo stripped of line to start it off.

Lol I didn't get hit with any spoons on the night. Other nights yes.... and they were trying to hit us. That guy took an involuntary swim that evening needless to say.

We're you actually out there though? Did u get any? Myself and another older guy hooked up and the same time and took some manourving on my behalf to keep us untangled.

Another sweet vid. Curious how you made buddy take a swim that was chucking at you? Casting at people in small (or any) vessel is incredibly stupid, makes me very angry, just careful pulling people into the drink cuz with some bad luck you'll run into someone that can't swim and then you may have an issue, as satisfying as it may be (always dreamt of the old Sparta kick off the pier).

I was the guy that you or your buddy ran through on the end of the pier and tangled. I landed 2/3 that night and goodentight (bless his soul) went 1/4

I boat fish pier heads often enough. If your tangling with shore fisherman you are fishing too close. The salmon will still be a couple hundred more feet out.

Not when you are fishing the marina and they are casting the entire way accross. Also not venturing out into the lake in a kayak at night when there is 3 ft swells. Not smart.... down right dangerous!!
