Hi all, I went down to the park and fished the marina lagoon that was better protected from the wind with no luck at all. Anyone pull any bass or pike out of there? Also, has anyone fished off the rocks into Lake Ontario around this time of year and pull any trout or salmon out? Should it be avoided if it's windy like it was today? Thanks in advance for the replies

You can fish inside the bay for salmon. They should start anytime now, Pike as well.

You have to hit Ash bridges after dark to be successful.  Glow in the dark Cleo has pulled me a few out over the years.

Usually starting late September I have the best luck from mid afternoon till dark. Later in October they will bite throughout the day. I've seen guys catching lots on skein during the day.
