Welcome to the forum Rockefeller.

What species have you targeted before?

What kind of gear do you have to work with?

Are you looking to fish for resident river trout, migratory trout or still water trout?

Try the Rouge River it should be close to you. Scout it out and strike up conversations with anglers who might be fishing the area. You can learn plenty off guys who actually fish there.

You should try burd’s trout fishing near stouffville Ontario. They stock the trout there so you probably don’t want to eat the trout. I never eat fish anyway because I’m a catch and release fishermen
