Thank you JC53, looks about something I am looking for! Is it order only? (or can you see it in store somewhere?)

Been using this one for 4 seasons, 0 issues. I believe its the same one mentioned earlier by other members.
I drilled out the bottom of the handle and epoxied in a greys net magnet, but they do come with a bungee lanyard and actually fit quite well just tucked behind a lumbar pack handle down.

Thanks for your input IR4J! I have this net as well (but I have the "largest size") so its a pain to carry, I am in search of the smaller ones if any stores have them out this season!

Nets a pain in the ass on the river.
And like Flyer mentioned gets caught up on anything and everything.
Just use your forceps and release it at your feet.
When I fish I either go by myself or up to 3 guys, So it is nice to have the net to avoid the coming icy shore lines and or putting your hands in the water to grab it!
I do also net fish for people around me if I see they are struggling/needing a hand!

I have that net for the canoe and it's just about perfect for going solo. A longer handled net is better with 2 paddlers, but that one is perfect for a number of instances.

For $12 you cant go wrong! The teardrop also has a nice deep 18" basket which will be great!

Here's what I use to hold my heavy net from falling

Pump; I have the exact same thing (except in a 48" Reach) and my current net is too heavy - its dragging on the floor. I had to double this retractable up with a magnet by Scientific Angler (picked it up at Sail for $14.99)
