The company I work for (based in Bangkok) is looking for an experience angler for a work on a Fishing video game during 6 months. I would be very grateful if you know someone who might be interested to forward this offer to him.
Responsibilities
· Find references of fish, equipment.. for the team
· Work on Fish parameters (min size, max size, weight, bait, equipment..)
· Work on level design: attach fish to locations depending on settings (weather, season, wind, temperature..) and the Fish itself
· Work on nature environment references (list of vegetation and animals found in a specific location,..)
· Make fishing action for motion capture
· Review assets produced by the artists (fish size, colors, animations..)
· Support the team in term of Fishing related knowledge
· Test and review the game features
Qualifications
· Attentive to detail and passionate about fishing
· Must be able to do research for to find references and parameters (in books, internet, databases,..)
· Degree in fishing, or fishing competition
· Excellent knowledge of various fishing techniques (spinning, spin, fly, predators, sea, ice fishing,carp...)
· Excellent knowledge of freshwater and saltwater most common Fish
· Excellent documentation skills
· Must be comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel
· Fluent in English: must be able to write documents and communicate with the team in English
