I have an interesting question for you all. I have recently met some amazing people in there late 20s and early 30s, But they have never fished before. So I want to bring them to a great location in Toronto or even a few hours out, where they can experience catching some sunfish or blue gills aha If you have an suggestions for places I would love to hear them!
And even if you suggest other fish and locations I am all ears.
Thank you!

Welcome to OFF!
Try Grenadier Pond at High Park, lots of bluegills and sunfish. Bring bread crumbs and chum an area you'ill see them in schools.

After all this rain the pond is probably high and muddy. When the water levels drop it should be good to go.

Oh had no idea thanks! Would there be schools of them currently?
Yes, but not as many as there are in the summer

Welcome to the forums!
You can always try worms and other lures at the mouth of any river or harbor!
There is always an abundant amount of fish to be caught - and the beauty of fishing these areas is you never know what you may catch!

Bluffer's park has all the species you can imagine. from the tiniest minnows to the biggest salmons. If you're willin to battle the crowd for the ferry ride...TO island is ideal for first timers....If you want some eye candies while fishing. High Park, Ashbridges Bay, Leslie Spit & Frenchman's Bay is the place for you - It's almost Yoga season....
