Ever wonder how big that fish really was that got away? What's happening down there? Is my lure doing what it's supposed to? Or is there even fish there?.... I personally always have. Got me some waterwolf cameras to have a look see.....
After reviewing the footage I have very mixed emotions here. Wow... there are alot of fish down there. This looks soooo freakin cool! But.... they hit my lure and swim away. Lol. It happens, but that feeling you get knowing what happens.... Helps me learn a thing or three about tactics. Applying what I see on the fish finder to the same exact moment on the waterwolf camera. Brain instantly went into matrix mode and I had a whole different understanding of sonar.
I had a good day and went 7 for 10 but these are the fish I did not catch on waterwolf video.

Charlie White did a series of videos such as this in the early 80's.
Actually proved rinsing lures in his boats transom sludge resulted in more takes.

it looked like they were just bumping it alot of the time without even opening their mouth. Now i'm going to wonder even more when I think I just saw the rod twitch.

I hate that feeling when you get a bump when chucking spoons.
Thanks for sharing the footage, now I know to be patient when I start getting bumps
