Just wanted to introduce myself a little. I primarily spend my time fishing for walleye, bass and pike. But about a year ago i found myself walking my local creek on trout opener with a spinning rod in hand and the steelhead in stream. After a couple of hours i accepted defeat. I returned the next day and brought in a nice steelhead in the 6-8 pound range. Stream fishing for trout and steelhead is now hands down my favourite type of fishing. It inspired me to pick up a fly rod and opened up a whole new world of fishing to me. Brown trout and brook trout are my favourite. Also always about catch and release, can't wait for the salmon and browns to start their run! Cheers and tight lines everyone!

Thanks! I live with my brothers in whitby, but my parents have a place in cobourg. So i mainly fish lynde, cobourg/baltimore and duffins. Looking to expand my horizons a little more!

Welcome!,, im from the cobourg/baltimore area and there is a few awsome streams around... i personally fish from a boat now,, but i do have a centerpin rod / reel thats seen a few good bends from this area!  *cheers*

Have you explored the headwaters of your local tribs yet?

Thanks gents, been north up the one of the tribs and pulled in some nice resident browns, bows and atlantic smolts. Hoping to head into the headwaters saturday and test my luck.
