Hey guys
Not sure if this is in the proper section but here goes.
I have a duramax 3 trolling motor which cuts out on high speeds. It runs ok on very low speeds but when I turn it up it Wil go fast the slow a few times then stop completely.
I took the bottom end apart and cleaned the stator and the brushes and still the same problem.
Is there a overload switch in the top end that may be overheating?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I would check the leads for corrosion. I had a similar problem and when I changed the lead wires to alligator clips I never had a problem since.
