I'm being impatient also.
Still a week left of summer. Lol
Anxious to flush the kings and get into the less painful species.
I.e. coho and steel.

This is brutal, it looks like we have another week of hot an dry weather here in SW Ontario. Hopefully we get some good rain when it cools down.

Lol...it's not like all you can fish now is salmon...bass & pike are both open and this weather is ideal.

The early run in my neck of the woods is done , lots of zombies. No rain or cool weather in the forecast. As mentioned above great weather for Pike , Bass and Walleye if your in to that. The BBQ is not going to get a break this week and weekend, bring on the beers.

We'll get a couple days out in the fall.

I'm surprised by those who are complaining about the lack of rain recently. Didn't we have enough rain this year? This stellar weather have kept the smallies in shallow- whacked a good 50-60 on Saturday in 2-8 FOW. Keep bringing the heat and no wind!!!!

I don't plan on going out at all this year for salmon, I just like fall weather and cold temps + rain bring other species I'm interested in up river

But myself I find a couple fresh chins enjoyable.
Too exhausted for anymore.
They burn the arm real quick. Lol
But don't miss out on the cohos.
You can hold them in the pool.
And the fight and acrobats very close to steel.
Close .
But nothing to me compares to the balastic retarded Nov steel.

The brookies are on fire right now...I usually fish north area for browns and brookies...salmons has reached the promise land but doesn't stop the brookies and browns from hitting flies....last monday I was nymphing tailend of the pool for browns and brookies are beating them to the bait.
