Casting under the cn rail before opener

I talked to a C.O about doing this and he said you absolutely cannot cast past the embuttment ie under the railway yet I see guys doing it everytime I go out. Thought maybe some folks need to be told this.

I have gotten into steelheading pretty much every weekend in the past couple months and have noticed when I approach a good pool holding fish usually am met with dirty looks and mean glares. As such I generally keep moving but whenever I hook a fish 10 guys materialize and take over the spot. Should I also be a jerk?? Opinions??

Fish online map goes white in certain places.

I have noticed certain areas always turn white when you zoom in on them. Anybody know why??

Creek chub as tablefare

Has anybody ever tried to eat creek chub?? I fished a spot this year where I regularly nabbed 10 inch creek chubs. Huge chubs. Other than being very bony I wonder what they taste like??

Bowmanville creek rainbow's

Hi folks. I fished Bowmanville creek yesterday and got a dozen or so small rainbow. Was wondering if there are larger resident rainbow in there or are the little gaffers all?? Saw a couple salmon headed upstream too.
