#342444 Fishheads Roe

Posted by Fishheads on 26 October 2017 - 02:37 PM in General Fishing Discussion

Hey guys. Our shipping costs are set up by Canada post. We make no $ on shipping. For GTA orders, small packs are usually $11. All our shipments give you a tracking number and insurance as well. I’m not sure where 35$ that must be a priority ship which is not required in Canada. If anyone ever has any questions Please feel free to reach out directly so we can you some fish on the bank.

#338541 Ideal Centerpin Specs

Posted by Fishheads on 22 January 2017 - 11:56 PM in General Fishing Discussion

Hey Guys,

Looking to hear where everyone stands on two key pin specs:

1) Ported back plate or solid back plate, or if it makes a difference to you and why.
2) Size. 5" spool, more or less, and why.

Thanks so much. That's it for now....
Cheers.

#338540 Kayaking the Niagara Bar - Bad Idea?

Posted by Fishheads on 22 January 2017 - 11:54 PM in General Fishing Discussion

im going to go on record saying this is a bad idea. There is SO MUCH WATER and FISH outside of Niagara... don't be a hero and go after the mighty, especially if you just bought a new kayak.

#338285 Drilling holes!

Posted by Fishheads on 10 January 2017 - 04:38 PM in Ice Fishing

Can confirm some spots were 8" on the weekend. Some was wide open.  Spud, drill, be careful. Don't ever just believe something you read online.

That NZ pic is unreal.

#338283 Raven MATRIX™

Posted by Fishheads on 10 January 2017 - 04:26 PM in Steelhead and Salmon Fishing

The SE, LE, and FP  matrix reel line all spin a step up from the original 4 3/8th reel. Raven doesn't declare bearing specs on these reels, so cannot confirm as to if they are upgraded or not.  I'm not just saying this, you will be much happier with a SE, LE, or FP matrix reel.
