#344499 Forum dying fast

Posted by fishfreek on 09 January 2019 - 10:40 AM in General Fishing Discussion

I like to share knowledge , technique  and everything in between . Sharing my spots with anyone and everyone that asks is a no no! Done that in the past numerous times and have paid the price. Access to many rivers have been lost due to this one person telling the other and the other and the other. Google earth can be blamed too , but hey at least using that is called "doing the leg work". Have been fortunate to fish with a few members from here who have become very good friends. They share their spots and I in return take them to mine. That's the way to do it , not by a click of a button. Going out fishing new waters experiencing different methods learning and sharing on the spot is the way to go .

A few ass swipes give anglers a bad name. A phone is really going to change some lowlifes life for the better. Shame , what a shame.

What beautiful afternoon for Spoon chucking. Seems like it’s going to cool down a bit. Could be an epic night.

Wow those are nice trebles, a bit of white colour on the weight and it will look like a marshmallow. Salmon love marshmallows .

I don’t think by upsizing your hardwear you fall in to the poaching category . As long as you are getting the fish to commit I don’t see a problem with that.

I hear if you upsize your treble hooks you can increase your catch ratio.

#344184 Drop shot

My one rod is a drop shot( live minnow) and the other is a spoon , crank or other hard bait to lure them in while ice fishing.

Chrome bullets that’s the first time I have ever heard of someone refusing to roll down their window while being stopped at a RIDE check. The sole purpose of this program is to keep drunk drivers off the roads and educate the public. Those cops that let you go should have been suspended for allowing you through , cowards.

Not too many places you can hide fish on boat. Empty’s on a boat can be suspicious. Good on you for having your documents and boat in order.

#344110 Does pouring your own jigs save you money in the long run?

100 lb fluorocarbon leader can save you a lot of $ when going after toothy critters.
