There's people fishing in Shallow lake which I was always told is closed for fishing at the end of September but they say end of November? Zone 16 I wouldn't mind knowing which is correct if anyone happens to know

I'm confused to when zone 16 closes for fishing I always thought it was the 4th Saturday in September which I see some say and then I also see some saying September 30th like whattofish says, What's the correct date ?
