I was reading through some of the GTA pond reports from last summer, and there a few ponds in particular that we really hammered!

I know of one pond that seemed to have an endless supply of largemouth bass.... like almost every cast! You guys know the one I'm talking about! ;) So a comment that Frozenfire made got me wondering if the fishing pressure from last summer on that pond in particular will effect the fishing there this summer, and to what extent?

Yeah, I really started thinking about this.

I guess we will see in a few months time. Since these ponds are so small in volume, I'm assuming that many bass being caught are repeats. This means that soon enough, they're gonna know what to take and what to leave alone. Everyone here releases all teh fish, so it's not like their population is going down... it's the fact that they're eventually gonna subdue to the pressure.

Hopefully some new ponds will be found this summer to even and spread out the pressure on more ponds instead of a select few ;)
