those sound like great catches.. does anyone know if your allowed to launch a small boat for fishing in professor lake?

I see lots of people that rent the paddle boats and canoes but did not see anyone fishing from boat...

Haaahaaahaaa. I was one of the guys in the kayaks. I usually go out after 7 when its only teenagers running the rec center.

I'll be there early tomorrow morn.

Probably just beat up. It's the rod that gets tossed in the trunk. Off to Bass Pro for the exchange.

Here's a video I took at Loafer's Lake in May, the sunfish and LM bass were nesting everywhere, and there were lots of crappie too.

No way those are crappie, the whole head shape shape is wrong, as are the colours. I got a good look at them with my own eyes, not just through a camera lens. There are crappie in there, and I got some video, but not really good enough to save.

I went here a couple days ago and fished in the rain, I got a few rock bass in couple hours, biggest was about 7 inches. They were caught on wax worms right at the closest dropoff to shore about 10-15 feet out, I realized that's where they were, casted further out and nothing, only got bites right along the dropoff close to shore.
