howdy.

After work tonight around 10pm, I visited Ashbridge Bay Park to see any salmons have moved in. I did casted out glow cleo for about hour and half and didn't catch anything but there was A LOT of jump all over there... especially after 11pm.

Maybe sunset hours maybe better or befor sunrise hours.

Still a lot of tall weeds in there.

If you are lucky, you'll get some pike too.

Give it a shot guys!

If anyone is going to visit, share with us when you'll be going. Just in case others might want to join'in.

Where is this place? I've never really been into salmon, but did catch some a few years back using roe bags at Port Hope/Colbourne? Years ago... don't really remember, but would love to get back into it.

Fish from the boardwalk (southside) there.

You'll proably want to have a net with long! handle.
Only because there still are few boats by the boardwalk.

Oh you can still use the rod you got for casting lures. Just make sure you have enough line in spool, good drag & put some like 30lb PowerPro or something and it is very do'able.
I've done it before.

All I can say is once you hook one, you'll be hooked. Sheer Power Is Awesome.
