Hello all.
What is the legal number of rods I can carry with me when fishing from shore?
Does it matter how many rods I can have in possession? as long as I only use one at a time?

you can bring as many rods as you want, but only fish with one at a time. i think only on some lakes like lake ontario u can use more than one rod on a boat ... same with ice fishing.

Pigurd is correct, you're allowed to use as many as you want, so long as you only use one-at-a-time. Its a bit of a different story tho if you're trolling from a boat on ie: Lake St.Clair, (its in the fishing regs) there's different rules per body of water, so depending on where you're fishing & what division it is, you may even be able to use more than 2 rods at a time.
