Anyone here ever have any luck fishing the shore at Bluffer's? Seems to be hit and miss but it's really close to my house so I wouldn't mind heading there after dinner a couple evenings a week.

If it's close to your home you should check it out every evening for a bit and give US the report

Bluffers? Yes. I don't fish there but in addition to what osteo and said, I've heard that you can get into brown trout at night... and salmon I hear.
I agree with what mikeymikey said.

When at Bluffers...check under the bridges into the Yacht clubs....if not now, in a few weeks you will be able to walk across the salmon !!!!!
May find a few browns in the mix if yer lucky...
.........and if you have won the New York Powerball Lottery in the past; you just mught hook into a sturgeon!!!
(Odds are 1:1,000,000,000,000 I think but It could happen!!)
And as my Grandfather used to say "Yeah, and if yer Aunt had balls she'd be yer Uncle!"
Tight Lines
Disspatcher.

what kind of lures will be effective there?
the salmon should be right in to the marina and swimming around, so would they still strike spoons and other hardbaits? or should i switch up my setup and use a larger sinker with a hook and roe?
