Anyone know how to do a pendulum cast ?

Read on web and seen video from YouTube.

Still don't really understand it.

Gave few tries, can't even do it. not even close.

Hi Mikey,
I think it just takes a hell of a lot of practice, I tried it and it wasn't pretty. As far as I know you swing the line behind you like a pendulum and then use the momentum for a forward cast, let go of the line when you are halfway around and the momentum should carry the line forward. Like I said it takes a lot of practice.

If it's the cast I'm thinking of, I use it quite a bit to get into tough spots that bass hold in.

i think this cast is for pure distance. trying to get it out there as far as you can. i checked out some vids, but can't even see where the line is and how they're swinging it haha.
