Not sure what the quality of the Abu Garcia Abu Cardinal 502 or the Fenwick Highlander Spinning Rod but they are both on special at Crappy Tire for $39.99 marked down from $79.99 anyone used this Fenwick Rod before?

I went and checked out the rod and the reel and the reel is 10 bb's and Rod does not look bad either regular price on both items is 79.99 so getting both for 79.98 + tax is not bad

I still think the reel is a keeper for the price I found a review on tackle tour which is pretty fair in their reviews and the reel holds up pretty well:

For $80 for both, I guess it's an O.K. deal. For the price, it's definitely better than most of the crap I mean stuff they sell.

Most of their stuff is garbage i Agree but in this case the reel is well made all metal body no plastic or graphite etc. It's not perfect but it is pretty decent for the price...

Actually it is not a combo the real is 39.99 and the rod is 39.99 regular price is 79.99 so you save 50 percent if you make it into a combo.
