*UNOFFICIAL REPORT*

Date: May 11, 2008.
Time fished: 1030~1130 hour.
Location: (*#&%)(#$*@)(*#$@ (Location map & pictures not included for being a unofficial report for public)
Condition: cloudy, windy! some gust, I absolutely hate windy days!, water still cool/cold. Pretty much no weeds yet. Temperature?... cool enough!! (Find green weeds, find fish)
Weapons: 7'6" BPS Ultralight rod (4 pcs) & Pflueger President spinner with 4lb test Berkley Vanish. Berkley 2.5" Gulp!, BPS 1.5" micro tube red/yellow, Lunker City 1.5" Shad. 1/16oz jighead.
Comments: I originally used to use 5'6" UL rod - it is really good for working the lures like 2.5" Rapala Floater, you can really give crazy action and etc... but when it comes to castability for these light baits it sucks. although fresh new line does help a little. So I started using 7'6" and it is so much better in every way exempt controlling light hardbaits.
I would use even longer rods if fishing fairly open area. You do see a lot of people using those 10'+ noodle rods perch fishing. I would too if I have any rod like that... as long as it's one of those quality very light weight rod.

I thought I visit one of my shore spot to how the condition was before I take my 3 year young nephew fishing for the first time. (I think he is 3? maybe 4 already? or 2 1/2? I really forgot, anyhow)

Here are the pictures (Sony Ericsson W810i, 2MP camera)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Fish(s) were harmed during this visit and all fish(s) were released! (Only one bleeder)
Couple of annoying perchs were caught aswell. Seen one jumbo swimmin' but the smaller bastards would attack the bait faster.

What is the best way to get the slimmy smell off your hands? I gotta say... crappie got some slimy slime.
Soap washed but I can somewhat still smell a lil~

Nice catches MikeyMikey. I usually find that the plain, unscented, no moisutrizer, etc. soaps (eg life brand from Shoppers)are pretty good at getting the smell out.

nice thnx MikeyMikey, I wanted to see an example report so I could make one up for my day at the dam, now i can piece together one when i get the time. Gotta work tonight, but i'll put something together soon.
Nice fish man, and as far as the smell, I find that any good dishsoap will get it off. The wife buys some apple smelling kind and it takes carp slime off with no problems. Hope this helps

Yes, only BiG panfish will try to gulp the Gulp! (2.5" & 3"). If you really think about it hook on 1/16oz jighead isn't that small either when compare to mouth of bluegill.
I love how aggressively bluegill attack baits and SWALLOWS :D

Yes all shots taken with my Cellular phone camera.

What is wrong with the location? You need to be able to read the code & decrypt it*

*NOT! Location not provided due to it being a unofficial report

No, I said Gulp! not Gulp! Alive. Besides... it's all same sh*t. Gulp! in plastic package, Gulp! Alive! in tubs with more liquid. It seems that # of baits you get is just about the same. I actually think Gulp! Alive! tub is a slightly better deal if you don't mind having that much. Plus since there is a lot of gulp! juice you can just keep other gulp!'s in there if you want. I guess.

Most Cell phone cameras are under 1 mega pixel, and you sure can see the difference!

I don't know if you beleive me, but stainless steel does wonders to get rid of fish smell.
They sell soap bar shaped stainless steel at the dollar store i think.
