Also, you might want to use a steel leader and high test line. Maybe braided if need be. Your going to be putting a lot of stress on your rig pulling it through the weeds and pads.

thxI like the frog...and poppers, definatly need a leader, also try throwing along the line of the weed beds, that will get the ones looking into open water. Good for bass.

So for anyone fishing heavy weeds even in June in july/august it will be 10 times worse. Moss boss is an awesome lure can be fished top water or a few inches under depending on retrive style/speed.

SkumFrog is good enough.
Spyro? Frog? It all works.
You can always hook those plastic frogs weedless and run it across the weeds.
If you have a access to GTA report section... look for one of my pond reports where I used skum frog topwater to catch few basssessss

I went online to take a look at this lure and couldn't find it. Who is made by?
I couldn't find it at bass pro online but I googled it..

its made by heddon. I've check markham le baron they don't have it, hopefully BPS still has it.

They can be used as top water just keep your rod tip high and fast retrive.
