anyone know what the fishing is like from cambridge to brantford looking to get some bows or salmon

Hey Bodog, beleive it or not the best place to grab some rainbow in the area that you requested is at Wikes Dam in Brantford. Over the years the river has become much cleaner and it seems as if there are many more rainbow. Your best bet would be to wade out 100 150 metres from the dam (its usually 2-3 feet deep there) and use your favorite rainbow lure or row bag. However this year is behind in the slamon run so you might have to wait until it gets a lot colder outside to grab bows at the dam.

Do the steelies get up to Wilkes? That's quite a journey if they do.
