i was thinking about trying ice fishing for the first time this winter but i don't know whats involved. could someone with experience please give me some info?

If it`s your first time, go with a fully outfitted ice fishing charter...they bring you out pick you up, and supply you with everything you need, and a heated hut too boot...also look into lunch packages...it`s alotta fun with the right people.

I ice fished the first time last year. You will need a couple rods, and a bucket to put your perch in. I think he (the mod) even sells minnows this year. He rents you a cabin, a propane heater (bring a lighter!), and drives you on and off the ice as well.
