2. Do Not Encroach. Fishing sites are located on public lands; however, in some instances the distinction of public and private land may not be clearly evident. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are accessing public lands only. In Richmond Hill, residents can fish in most bodies of water on public land except the following locations (or where signs have been posted):
# Lake St. George
# Phyllis Rawlinson Park
# Bond Lake
# Phillips Lake
# Lake Wilcox Fish and Wildlife Sanctuary
That first paragraph in impressively ambiguous.
Side note: There are 4 natural kettle lakes in Richmond Hill: Lake St. George, Bond Lake, Phillips Lake and Wilcox. Interestingly, all 4 are listed as restricted/prohibited lakes above.

Yes there was a report from St George. He posted a picture of a Rock bass on steroids lol. The thing was like 2 pounds. He also reported about big pike and bass.
As far as Wilcox goes, yes you can fish it as far as I know.
And as for Preston, well it's just sad that a public lake is surrounded by private property.
(it's at woodbine and bloomington)

I took a second look at the website, and yes as far as Wilcox is concerned, they specify that the sanctuary is off limits to fishing. One glancing at the site who doesn't know where to fish in Richmond Hill could easily construe Wilcox as being off limits to fishing the way that the list is presented.
