don't give up hope trying to fish in the winter. this week i'm going to be checking out some small creeks that never freez up. if anyone is dying to get out shore fishing i'm sure that you have some creeks nearby to satisfy you.
if i catch anything i'll make a report and post it so you guys can fish some of these spots.

What type of fish would you be fishing for at this time of year?

i know that there are trout in some streems but only the more coldwater species like brook trout, i've also caught perch(just small fish)

You know... I have yet to go out and try river trout fishing....
In fact, I have never caught a trout in my life.

trout and char are my favorite fish, they're cappable of getting very big and yet they're easy to catch.
