aww come on efka, one day outside of the tribs?

check my post from last 2 years, i did enough crappie fishing.
but this year, dont feel like going far to look for them, and bradford where i used to go, well lets just say it, it bacame a jungle. one minute you have a spot, you turn around and sthe spot is gone. lol

and for ice fishing, never done it, and I dont have the right clothing / gear for it. I'm probably looking at......boots + snowpants (Probably really expensive) and then auger (70 bucks?) and a rod like (20?)
Wish I had that much money to spend :?

and if you are concerned about ice fishing being expensive, i can assure you its not.
the rod is $10 at ct store (use any spining reel), some people dont even use rods they use sticks and pull fish with their hands.
boots, well i got mine for maybe $50, its not supper warm for -30, but i never go it those conditions anyway.
for clothing i dont have any float suit or any fancy stuff, just use layers.
and for the auger, depends where you go. sometimes you wont need it since there will be holes everywhere

btw i used someone elses hole last weekend, so technicaly got my fish without using an auger, dont know if you bother check the report secion from time to time.
i know its dry, since only few of us put reports.

YOU GUYS ARE ALL THREAD JACKERS!
just kidding, interesting though.

But Porter, that's an interesting job you've got there. Sorry to hear what happened to you though. I would love being those guys that keep everything in line at bars. Unfortunately, I dont have the physique or the size to be one of those.

it can mean two things, in this case it means unfrozen, but in other cases it means the type of water, lake huron is hardwater and has an almost crisp feeling when you swim in it, wheras the moon river(only example i could think of) feels soft and smoothe, i'm not sure what the reason fro this is, maybe disolved minerols
