I have such an itch to get out and fish for, at this point in time just about anything, I have been on some re-con missions in the last few days to see how the ice is doing with these mild conditions. Here are some shots from the mouth of the Duffins in Ajax taken yetserday. Ice is starting to melt alot but still frozen upstream and into the marsh area. Hopefully the warmer weather will allow me to test the waters soon.

Trust me, I am there with ya...I am just itching. Hopefully these + temp days will bring some fishing time...HERE COMES THE SUN!! I can`t wait...have only been out once this year, caught 26 fish, so I am already up on last years total to date!

sorry could not resist...
balapickerel if you read the regulations for that zone you would know that most anglers that fish the creeks (lake tributories) are 99% targeting salmon/steelheah/trout.

I have one rod in my car 365 days a year for exactly that reason. I see open water, I cast.
