The family and I took our boat out on Rice Lake last summer, and it ended up being one of the most productive days I have ever had. We launched the boat in Bewdley, and worked our way around the lake. I was tossing a wacky rigged 5" watermelon worm, just relaxing. We ended up in front of Sugar Island I think it was called, good weed cover, around 12" deep, when the fish started biting. It didnt matter what we threw at them. Between the three of us we boated around 20 fish within an hour, the smiles were unbelievable! The biggest one was this bruiser, a 4 1/2 pounder. Needless to say, this spot is one we will visit frequently.

Here are just a few of my Rice Lake catches from last season. Not necessarily the biggest or the best.

Most pics were taken myself using self timer and tripod. Not always easy but just proves, any pic is better than none at all.

Yes it is a Legend 16 Prosport SC. I love it. Does a great job and meets my needs. I don't use this boat for tournament fishing so it has everything I need. Livewell, lights, fish finder, storage, rod holders in the boat, rod holders for trolling, power trim.I love it.

I'm amazed you could tell it was that make of boat from the pics. Pretty good.

Cool, I was looking at legends last year almost got the 16ft exterminator. But I couldn't make up my mind. So I picked up a 14ft smokercraft just to get me onto the water for now also has livewell, lights, rod holders & storage will upgrade when the time is right.

or you could just build yourself a wooden speedboat instead of buying an aluminum one ;)

here are some pictures or boats that would be easy to build(if you had the time, money and space)

this one is only a model but a real one wouldn't be that hard to makePosted Image

once you take a look at the plans, it stops looking like something that would take years to make

and finnaly a classic palm beach model(can you see why i like them? :P )
