Outstanding rod.

Here are the specs on it ...

VCT610MH
Length: 6'10"
Line Weight: 10-20lbs.
Lure Weight: 1/4 - 1oz.
Fast Taper.

It's a casting rod, and although used, is in near mint condition.
These rods were made by G-Loomis for Shimano and have a very light and nice feel.

They were made in the G-Loomis factory.

Furthermore, they have a lifetime warranty. If you break it, Shimano will replace it with a Shimano Crucial.

I have photographs of this rod available and will send them by e-mail to you if you would like.

Asking $150.00 for this rod.

Í would also be interested in this rod but $150 for a used V-rod is too much considering I can get a new Crucial for $160 here(Canadian). If you come down with your prices I would be interested in all of your items.

I just had to respond,

$150 is not too much for a lightly used V-Rod. While you may be able to locate a new Crucial for $160, the fact of the matter is that this rod is strictly "Shimano" in name only. This rod was handcrafted in the USA by G-Loomis, to G-Loomis specs. It was not made in a factory in China as the Shimano rods are (sorry if that offends anyone). You need to compare it to a G-Loomis rod, not a Shimano.

I based the $150 price on the fact that a series of used V-Rods went on sale in British Columbia in November of 2008 and they were listed at $250 Canadian, prior to going on e-bay. Therefore, this price is a very good value. For anyone interested, I could get the link for them (PM me).

I am selling my equipment, not giving it away. It is high end equipment, and as such I hope to get good value for it. That said, I certainly understand why you would be interested in all my equipment should the prices drop. I believe many people would be.

I have had lots of interest in this rod, and I know that as it gets closer to bass season it will be sold.

Good luck on the water this season folks.
