went out with a buddy today before the rain and ended up catching my largest crappie to date.
didnt get a chance to properly measure but was easily pushing 2 lbs for sure and was atleast 8" long.
after a couple pics back in she went.

^^ haha you guys are too funnyyy, but yes the slabs are starting to come in.
today almost seemed like it would be a bad day to fish, less active fish hitting and most were smaller than past weeks. just before it started to rain i set my bait a whole foot deeper and bam there she was...

**fish were caught on assorted tubes but the one slab hit white

it's definitely a lot longer than the 8" you suggested, but also nowhere near 2 lbs.

Nice Crappie`s, and I even like the swirls...without giving the spot away, in which body of water are you fishing there? Not that I can get too it anyways...but I like to dream.

Simcoe... the other great lake 8)
It's where most of the no closed season crappies are being caught right now. Lots of spots you can fish for them and other panfish. Unless you're from the west where there are other bodies of water with healthy populations.
