hey all, new here to the fourms. just saying hi! an was wondering if anyone has any info. on the fish ladders on the bronte creek..?
is there one "in operation" at Lowvellie park? and 3 years in a row the ladder at Progreston is never operating.
i would really like to see the fish make there way up to hwy 6 some day.

I don't know if there is a fish ladder "in operation" at Lowville, but I have seen them spawning in the spring at the park in Lowville...
I'm not sure how much further the rainbows travel up Bronte, but I have seen them jumping up the dam at Lowville. I've never seen any make it over, mind you this was several years ago that I was last there.
Maybe another member with more updated info can chime in.
